BAKU HOSTS THE 74TH EDITION OF IAC - THE WORLD'S TOP SPACE EVENT - ASI

The 74th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) began in Baku, Azerbaijan on October 2nd. This annual event brings together key players in the aerospace industry, as well as experts and enthusiasts in the field of space. The congress will feature various conferences and meetings until October 6th.

After IAC 2023 in Baku, the baton will be passed to IAC 2024 in Milan, Italy. This will be the 75th congress and will be organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and hosted by the Italian Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIDAA), the Italian Space Agency (ASI), and the Leonardo company. Milan will become the world’s space capital for a week, following previous congresses held in Rome (1956, 1981), Turin (1997), and Naples (2012). The dates for IAC 2024 in Milan are October 14th to 18th.

These include the Director of International Affairs at the Italian Space Agency with the newly appointed UNOOSA Director, ASI President attending the IAF General Assembly, ASI President being interviewed by Mishaal Ashemimry, and ASI delegation meetings with various space agencies and organizations.

ASI President Teodoro Valente also spoke at an event promoting IAC 2024 in Milan. The congress provides a platform for international cooperation and collaboration in the field of space exploration and research.
