UnaBiz partners with Kinéis to provide satellite IoT connectivity for logistics and transportation

Headquartered in Singapore, UnaBiz is a multi-tech IoT service provider that has delivered over 1.4 million sensors in 28 countries worldwide. The 5-year-old scale up has recently raised US25 million in its Series B funding and is looking to grow its capabilities and develop solutions in specific verticals.

“Both Kinéis and UnaBiz are focused on creating value for the ecosystem”, said Henri Bong, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of UnaBiz. “We are excited to work with our new partner in the New Space industry as Nanosatellites IoT solutions will complement our existing terrestrial offers, including LPWAN and cellular solutions, providing our partners with a truly global connectivity solution.”

Kinéis combines 40-year experience in localization and data collection, to provide low-cost, low-power, direct to satellite IoT connectivity. In addition to its seven operational satellites and two more announced this year, Kinéis will launch a 25-nanosatellite constellation in 2023 from New Zealand, quadrupling its current network to achieve near real time connectivity.

Alexandre Tisserant, Kinéis’ CEO said, “We are very pleased to begin this new partnership with UnaBiz in Asia, after being granted access to U.S. market. Together, we can strengthen our market position by offering a complete and reliable IoT solution with global coverage which combines the best of each technology.”
