E-Space, a satellite company, has completed a five-month feasibility study commissioned by the French Space Agency, Centre National D’Etudes Spatiales (CNES). The study aimed to assess and validate the technical capabilities of the E-Space satellite system, including the space platform, communication payload, guidance, navigation and control (GNC), and user terminal. The study also evaluated the long-term viability of the company’s underlying business model. The study identified technical opportunities to expand engagements for future collaborations between CNES, E-Space, and the French space ecosystem. The director of Commercial Strategy and Product Development at E-Space, William Ricard, said that completing the study with CNES provided important validation of their technology and market approach. E-Space is now taking important next steps to operationalize their global LEO constellation by investing in key regions, including France. By expanding their regional presence and bringing on additional local talent, they aim to set the standard in the global design, development, manufacture, and commercialization of sustainable LEO systems.
