Airbus-built HOTBIRD 13G Satellite Captures Vibrant Selfie: Blue Marble Sparkles

. This state-of-the-art satellite, built by Airbus, has successfully reached its geostationary orbit, 36,000 km above the Earth’s surface. HOTBIRD13G’s electric orbit raising was completed in just five months, following in the footsteps of its twin satellite HOTBIRD13F. The satellite underwent comprehensive testing at its orbital position, with visual checks carried out using its advanced cameras. HOTBIRD13G boasts a full-colour camera, located at the tip of one of its robotic arms hosting the electric propulsion thrusters. This marks the eighth fully-electric satellite built by Airbus, and its advanced technology is set to revolutionize the satellite industry.
