SpaceX has rescheduled the launch of its Starship vehicle to Thursday, April 20, after an issue with the pressurisation system on the first stage caused a scrubbed attempt on April 17. The launch window will open at 9:28 a.m. EDT (1328 GMT) and will be the first ever for a fully stacked Starship, which is being developed to transport people and cargo to the moon, Mars and beyond. The Super Heavy booster will make a hard splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico about eight minutes after liftoff, while Starship’s upper-stage spacecraft will make a partial lap around Earth before coming down in the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii around 90 minutes after launch.
