Elon Musk’s SpaceX has released a new video showcasing its Starship vehicle launching towards Mars. The five-minute animation begins with an aerial view of the company’s Starbase facility in Texas, before showing the 165-foot-tall Starship upper stage meeting up with a tanker in Earth orbit to refuel for the journey to Mars. The animation ends with the Starship landing on the Red Planet, with four spacesuit-clad passengers looking out upon a landscape dotted with lights surrounding a big domed habitat. SpaceX is gearing up to launch the first-ever orbital test flight of the vehicle, which could lift off as soon as next week.
