(NASDAQ: ASTS) has disclosed the details of its public offering of Class A common stock. The company intends to sell 12,500,000 shares, which will generate approximately $59.4 million in gross proceeds. These funds will be used for various corporate purposes, including cash payments for launch services and additional equipment and services in the third quarter of 2023.

AST SpaceMobile has stated that the underwriter will offer the shares of Class A common stock for sale on Nasdaq or in the over-the-counter market at prevailing market prices or negotiated prices. The offering is expected to close on June 30, 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.

On the other hand, Maritime Launch Services Inc. (NEO: MAXQ, OTCQB: MAXQF), a Canadian-owned commercial space company, issued 2,875,000 common shares on May 5, 2023. Maritime Launch is actively developing Spaceport Nova Scotia, which will be Canada’s first commercial orbital launch complex.
