UK Nuclear Fusion Company Announces Partnership with US Space Rocket Company

Pulsar Fusion, a UK-based nuclear fusion company, has partnered with US firm Princeton Satellite Systems to develop a space rocket that will use artificial intelligence (AI) to increase its speed. The companies will use AI machine learning simulations to create a deep space rocket engine that could reach speeds of around 500,000 mph, reducing the travel time to Mars to roughly 30 days. The technology could also significantly decrease the mission time to Saturn’s moons, reaching them in approximately two years. The collaboration will examine how nuclear fusion plasma behaves when exiting a rocket engine, emitting exhaust particles at high speeds.
