ASI: ‘SPACEFOUNDERS’ European Program Memorandum of Understanding Signed by Italy, France, and Germany

The Italian Space Agency (ASI), CNES, and the University of Bundeswehr Munich (UniBW) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the European Space-Tech program “SpaceFounders.” The program aims to provide high-level training, business coaching, and investment networking to startups. Recently, the third Demo Day event of “SpaceFounders” was held in Rome, where ten startups presented their projects to investors and professionals from ASI, CNES, ESA, EIC, and industrial partners Thales Alenia Space, Beyond Gravity, and Airbus. The cooperation aims to strengthen startups’ business development and go-to-market activities through business coaching, investment networking, and mentoring. The focus areas are space research, satellite and rocket technology, communications, navigation, and Earth observation. ASI, CNES, and UniBW will promote the acceleration program, scout for high-potential startups, and co-organize networking events with experts, investors, and entrepreneurs in the space domain.
