CMMI
ML3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this
level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in
standards, procedures, tools and methods. The organization’s set of standard
processes, which is the basis for ML3, is established and improved over time.

“From
my first day at Innoflight, I have been impressed with our employees’ dedication
towards the pursuit of development excellence in the space industry,” said
David Burrill, Innoflight Director, Quality. “Innoflight does a remarkable job
implementing best industry practices to support its rapid development of
quality products. Leading the CMMI effort was challenging, but we have a great
team that helped us succeed. Achieving Maturity Level 3 demonstrates
Innoflight’s potential to move forward to reach even greater benchmarks.”

“The
CMMI effort has been quite a journey considering the rapid growth of Innoflight
and how busy we are,” said Vincent Gagnon, Innoflight Chief Revenue Officer and
CMMI Sponsor. “I commend our CMMI and Quality teams who stayed focused and
disciplined throughout the process and made it happen at the end of the day.
This great achievement will allow Innoflight to continue as a high-performing
organization on its successful trajectory, creating a noticeable competitive
advantage.”
