Viasat Inc. Sets Launch Date for ViaSat-3 Americas Satellite

Viasat Inc., the renowned global communications company, has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated ViaSat-3 Americas satellite. The satellite is scheduled to launch on April 18, 2023, during a one-hour launch window that opens at 7:29 pm EDT. The SpaceX Falcon Heavy will carry the ViaSat-3 satellite from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Once the launch vehicle sends the satellite into geostationary transfer orbit, it will provide broadband services from an orbital slot located at 88.9° west longitude.
