It’s really amazing to see how spring fights back the territories covered with ice and snow from space. With multispectral imagery of Red-Green-NIR spectral bands the actual border of iced land is particularly visible because of sensitivity to thermal and vegetation phenomena.

In a zoomed image the border between icy and non-icy surfaces and even ice cracks are visible.
